The Democratic Thought Society has congratulated President Ramchandra Paudel on his election to the post of President and wished him a successful tenure.
President Kedarnar Singh KC and Senior Vice President Kulchandra Wagle handed over the letter of appreciation to the President in a program held today at Rashtrapati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas. The letter of appreciation was read by the society's secretary, Vasudev Bhandari.
On that occasion, President Paudel said that the democratic thought society should play the role of a whistleblower when democracy and the country are in trouble. In the event, the newly elected president of Nepal Medical Association Dr. Anil Karki, vice president of society Dr. Ishwari Laudari, treasurer Pushpaman Shrestha, Bagmati province coordinator Bharat Dawadi, Lumbini province coordinator Shankar Diwas Mazgaia, Gandaki province coordinator Prof. Dr. Akaldev Mishra, central members Prada Bhupendra Basnet, Dr. Veer Bahadur Karki, Krishna KC, Sivi Malla, Menuka Rajbhandari, Rajan Kuinkel and Januka Pant, life member Anju KC and others were present.
