Khanal-Nepal faction of CPN-UML has decided to launch organisational development and party strengthening campaign for the coming two months.

A standing committee (SC) meeting of the faction held in Kathmandu on Saturday decided to develop the sister organisations up to the ward level and expand the party's organisation, SC member Raghuji Panta said.

"The district committees have been formed uninterrupted by discarding the committees elected from the district conventions. This is an action against the (elected) committee," Panta told the Rastriya Samachar Samiti.

Decisions have been made to protest if the legitimate committees of the party were dissolved, according to Panta.

Similarly, the SC meeting also decided to publish a booklet of the reports of the recently held national gathering and the recommendations received on it. The booklet would be distributed to grassroots level cadres.

Furthermore, the party's training events would be run while reconstituting the erstwhile committees of the party formed before May 2018.

The meeting has also decided to mobilise the central committee members in the districts for the publicity and training programmes and mark the party establishment day, Manmohan Adhikari Memorial day and Madan Ashrit Memorial Day in a grand manner.
