The CPN-Maoist Central Working Committee meeting held on Monday has unanimously re-elected Pushpa Kamal Dahal as the party chair for five years.
"This party, the Central Committee, and the working people have given me the opportunity to play a serious role in the turning points of history," says Dahal after getting re-elected.
A meeting of the Central Committee held at Heritage Plaza in Sanepa, Lalitpur today unanimously elected Dahal, however other office bearers could not be decided. Party spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara said that today's meeting was over and the next meeting would be held in a week.
