Election Commission has requested not to conduct polls about political parties and candidates. After the nomination of the candidate has been registered, the commission has warned to not conduct polls and publish the results until the voting is completed.
Contrary to the Code of Conduct, the Commission have discovered some people using social media to conduct opinion polls regarding political parties and candidates and published the results.
Election Commission has been banning polls saying that polls like this will affect other voters and hinder the conduct of fair elections.
