The seventh session of the Federal Parliament commenced today.
In today's meeting, the lawmakers close to the Dahal-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) protested over today's agenda and boycotted the meeting a few minutes after it started.

NCP lawmaker Bhima Rawal demanded the agenda of ordinances be removed from today's meeting. However, Speaker of the HoR Agni Prasad Sapkota continued with the agenda while HoR members close to the Dahal-Nepal faction exited the meeting hall.
Likewise, Nepali Congress, the main opposition party, protested against the ordinance related to the Constitutional Council presented They chanted slogans against the ordinance in the meeting hall. Subsequently, Speaker Sapkota adjourned the meeting for 10 minutes and later on, it was notified that the meeting adjourned until 1:00 pm on March 10.
