The general convention of Nepali Congress is slated to be held by the end of Nepali month Bhadra (September 16). Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba issued a statement today mentioning that the party’s general convention will be held by September 16.

In the statement, Deuba also mentioned that the general convention is not just a technical or administrative issue. He stated that he also understood that the general convention is an important political exercise and something that is very vital to keep the ideology of the party alive.
