CPN (Maoist Centre) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has asked leaders and cadres of the communist party to show a sense of renunciation.
In his address to the 8th memorial day of Nara Bahadur Karmacharya, one of the founders of the Communist Party in Nepal, today Dahal expressed his worry over the growing tendency among the party cadres to deviate from ideals.
He said that a tendency has been nurturing among leaders to make criticism of the leadership for not getting ministerial berth and only tend to work after getting ministry berth.
Citing reference that founder leader Karmacharya never ran after power in his political career, he urged every communist leader and cadre to follow the conducts of leader Karmacharya.
"I am also facing a difficult situation. All 49 members of parliament from the CPN (Maoist Centre) are aspiring for ministerial positions," he said, adding that, "I am under tremendous pressure in selecting MPs for ministerial berth".
Former Prime Minister Dahal also disclosed the ill-efforts underway to break the coalition formed against regressive force of the country.
