President Ramchandra Paudel said that the people are disappointed because the constitution has not been fully implemented and has asked the parties in the federal parliament to make an immediate law for the implementation of the constitution.
Addressing the leaders of all the political parties represented in the Federal Parliament at the exchange of greetings held at Sheetal Niwas on Monday on the occasion of Maghi festival, he asked them to take a pledge that we will realize an inclusive federal democratic republic. This constitution gives rights to oppressed, neglected, and backward people, and the world community has also praised our constitution. But it is yet to be practically fully implemented.
The disappointment seen in the people is not due to any other reason, it is the non-implementation of the constitution. Let's turn the people's despair into hope by quickly making laws to implement the Constitution.
He made it clear that the Nepali people never want to go back. He said - I also understand the desire of the Nepalese people. Nepalese people never want to go back. They desire to move forward. Therefore, let us all pledge today to fulfill the desire of the people by realizing an inclusive federal democratic republic.
He said that Maghi is the original festival of the Tharu and Magar communities as well as the entire Nepalese and said that Maghi has special significance as it also represents the change of seasons.
