Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the local government should be transparent and should be able to win hearts of the people. Inaugurating the newly constructed administrative building at Chapakot Municipality-9 Suntalitar in Syangja today, Prime Minister Deuba said that the local government's work should be made transparent and accountable to the people.
"Since the local government is a government that is directly connected to the people, its operations should be transparent," said Prime Minister Deuba.
Prime Minister Deuba clarified that the current government has moved ahead by announcing the date of local elections and the election will be held in a fair, free and fearless environment within the stipulated time.
Former Deputy Prime Minister Gopal Man Shrestha said that it was necessary to build development by including Chapakot of Syangja and Rampur Municipality of Palpa.
Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Krishna Kumar Shrestha said that the five-party alliance would be maintained in the upcoming election as well.
