MCC should be discussed in Parliament as soon as possible: Whip Bhusal

Whip of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party Pushpa Bhusal said that there should be no confusion and dilemma in presenting the US Assistance Project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) agreement in the House as it was a matter for implementation by all previous governments.

Stating that the MCC should not be intimidated by any political party to come to power, he said that since the foreign relations between the two countries are related to economic relations, they should be discussed in the parliament as soon as possible.

Leader Bhusal recalled that the previous government of the CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (UML), and Nepali Congress had clearly put forward the MCC.

He told the RSS, "If the MCC enters the house as soon as possible and has a lot of discussions, the public will be clear about the question that has arisen. Our party is saying that we should have a wide discussion by entering the MCC House.

Democratic Socialist Party (LSP) parliamentary party whip Uma Shankar Aragaria said that the MCC agreement, which is in the interest of Nepal and Nepalis, needs to be discussed in the House as soon as possible. He said, "The MCC should be brought into the House as soon as possible without limiting itself to political parties and some leaders in particular." This is an issue related to the development of Nepal and the prosperity of Nepalis. ”
