A meeting of the office bearers of Nepali Congress has begun. The meeting is being held at the party President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha. The meeting also includes former office bearers of the party.
The meeting will hold discussions on the recent political developments that have taken place in the country and on the steps that the party will be taking in the coming days.
Stating that the president had dissolved the House of Representatives even when an alternate government could have been formed the Nepali Congress has teamed up with the opposition parties to use both legal and political recourse to go against that decision.
Deuba has been claiming that he has the support of 146 lawmakers of five parties in the now-dissolved House of Representatives.
