The meeting of office bearers of Nepali Congress has concluded that anyone found guilty on fake Bhutanese refugee scam must be booked, while the innocent ones must not be implicated in the case.
In the meeting held at President Sher Bahadur Deuba's residence, Dhumbarahi, on Thursday, the office bearers of the party discussed issues ranging from fake Bhutanese refugee scam to party central committee, preparation of policy convention, and sister organization.
"Issues of suspending leader Balkrishna Khand was raised in the meeting, but no decision was made to this end," said Joint General Secretary Jivan Pariyar, adding, "As investigation is continuous, reaching conclusion is inappropriate."
Pariyar further informed about the meeting that government was not serious as per alliance spirit. Also discussed during the meeting was citizenship bill which is currently at President's Office.
