Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister, Sher Bahadur Deuba, has extended sorrow over the demise of the first governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank, Himalaya Shumsher Rana.
President Deuba paid tribute to the late Rana by draping the party flag over his body.
Similarly, NC general secretary Gagan Thapa, and leaders—Prakash Man Singh, and Uday Shumsher Rana, among others also paid tribute to Rana.
Also, the former Finance-Secretary, Rana, passed away this morning at the age of 95. He was suffering from pneumonia.
