Nepali Congress leader and General Secretary Gaganthapa has been recommended as a candidate for the House of Representatives from Saptari Constituency No. 1.
The regional committee meeting has recommended the names of three people including Thapa.
Earlier Thapa's name has also been recommended as a single name from Sarlahi area number 4 of Madhesh province.
Gagan Thapa has been unanimously recommended as a candidate from Kathmandu Region No. 4 for the election to be held on November 20.
Thapa's name was also recommended from Kaski Region No. 1.
