While seeking votes in his favour during the vote of confidence at the House of Representatives (HoR) today, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba mentioned that his first priority would be to save the citizens from the COVID-19 pandemic.
PM Deuba, who is also the president of Nepali Congress, stated that the government would adopt all possible measures and mobilise all available resources to stop the spread of the coronavirus in the country.
He also mentioned that all the parties need to cooperate for the overall development of the country.
The prime minister also thanked former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli for all the good work that he had done during his three-and-a-half year tenure. PM Deuba said he would learn from the experiences of the previous government and there is always room for improvement.
