President Ram Chandra Paudel has sent a condolence message to the family of former State Minister Mina Pandey.
Pandey passed away on May 27. She was 72.
In his message, President Paudel said Pandey's simplicity and generosity would inspire one and all Nepalis.
The President has also stated that the demise of Mina was an irreparable loss to the country and the country's democratic movement.
He has said that Pandey's participation in the democratic movement in the tough time, even when there were challenges for men to join the movement, was a matter of pride for all.
President's Press Advisor Kiran Pokharel, President Paudel's daughter Abagya and Sangya Pokharel visited Pandey's family at Gaushala in the Capital City to express their condolence on behalf of the President.
Similarly, the President has recalled Pandey's leading role in the student movement of 2036 BS that forced the then regime to announce the referendum.
