CPN (UML) candidate Bhoj Prasad Shrestha has won the election to the Province Assembly (PA) Member from Rupandehi PA constituency 2 (2). He secured 16,300 votes against his closest contender Bamdev Ghimire Chhetri of Maoist Centre's 9,410, Chief Election Officer Udbir Nepali said. The voter turnout in this constituency in the House of Representatives and Province Assembly Member elections held on November 20.
