In order to make the parliamentary proceeding more systematic and effective, the calendar of the upcoming Winter Session of the Federal Parliament has been released by allocating days for holding meetings of House and parliamentary committees.
As discussed, the house meetings and parliamentary committee meetings will be convened equal three days in a week.
Speaker of House of Representative (HoR) Devraj Ghimire on Friday consulted with the chief whips and whips of the political parties represented in the parliament in the calendar prepared by the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
CPN (UML) whip Mahesh Bartaula said that the calendar shared by the Federal Parliament Secretariat has been agreed for its implementation for 15 days effective from February 5.
