Lawmaker and former Deputy Prime Minister, Bimalendra Nidhi, has laid emphasis that the three-tier governments should move ahead together to resolve problems surfaced in development construction and service delivery in Dhanusha.

At an interaction organised by the District Administration Office, Dhanusha, here on Friday, he urged all sides concerned to move ahead joining hands, as the development construction activities and service delivery were facing obstruction due to dispute among people's representatives and employees in local levels.

Lawmaker Nidhi opined that there would be maximum utilization of available resources and good results could be achieved only from mutual understanding between people's representatives and employees.

"I have received many complaints from both--people's representatives and employees. Such misunderstandings do not give good results. So, we cooperate with each other. Lawmakers including myself are ready to bring big projects and lend other support as in the past", he reminded.

Similarly, CPN (UML) lawmaker Julie Kumari Mahato Mahaseth said there was no alternative to move together in order to resolve problems seen in the district. Stating that bodies of local, provincial and federal governments should be able to carry out activities in favour of the people, she opined that they were ready to provide any support from the position of federal member.

Chiefs and representatives of most of the offices admitted that problems surfaced in carrying out activities under their jurisdiction due to lack of adequate budget, long-term management of implemented plans, and human resources.
