CPN-Maoist and CPN-UML have been elected as the chief and deputy chief of Vigu village municipality of Dolakha respectively.
Sanjeev Oli of UCPN (Maoist) and Devika Thami of UML have been elected as the village head and deputy head respectively. Oli was elected as the chief of the municipality by getting 4,100 votes. UML candidate Achchutam Keshi has polled 3,973 votes.
Thami was elected as the Deputy Chief of the CPN-UML after defeating Sherpa of the Nepali Congress. Thami got 4,013 votes while her rival Sherpa polled 3,826 votes. In Vigu village municipality of eight wards, UML has won three seats, UCPN-M and Nepali Congress have won two seats and independent candidates have won one ward.
