CPN-UML and Rastriya Prajatantra Party have agreed to coordinate in the local level election in Baglung Municipality.
After the agreement, RPP candidate Sanju Nepali and UML candidate Pavitra Roka withdrew their nominations for the post of mayor of Baglung. Similarly, out of 14 wards of Baglung Municipality, RPP has got one ward member in wards 2, 3, 4, 7, 11, 12 and 13. In other posts, RPP will support the UML candidate, said Chandra Prakash Sharma, head of the CPN-UML's propaganda department in Baglung.
Shailendra Kumar Shrestha, a member of the negotiating team and RPP, said that the other nine local levels of Baglung have agreed to support each other on the basis of local understanding.
