CPN UML Parliamentary Party meeting today decided to campaign against the Supreme Court's decision. The Supreme Court on July 12 reinstated the House of Representatives and also ordered Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba to be appointed as the prime minister of the country as per Article 76 (5) of the Constitution of Nepal.

Friday's meeting has decided to launch a campaign against the Supreme Court's decision and to join people's mandate according to Chief Whip of CPN UML, Bishal Bhattarai.

The parliamentary party meeting has viewed that the campaign is necessary to protect the constitution, democracy and multi-party system, Bhattarai said.

Likewise, the UML leaders also decided to draw the attention of the government to make easy availability of the vaccines against COVID-19.

Bhattarai said other leaders of the party will be asked to participate in the next meeting of the parliamentary party.
