CPN-UML has secured victory in Bajura's Budhiganga municipality. The victory of Ram Bahadur Baniya as the mayor and Mayakumari Khadka as the deputy mayor has been confirmed. A formal announcement is yet to be made.
UML's Baniya, who won the mayoral post, got 4,777 votes while his competition Rang Bahadur Khati of the Nepali Congress got 3774 votes.
UML's Mayakumari got 4727 votes while Congress' Rita Shahi got 3755 votes.
