Nepali Congress central member Dr. Dilla Sangraula has said that the party which is likely to be the development party should win the local elections.
He assured to create employment, squatter-free and flood-free city at a corner meeting held at Rassas Chowk, Biratnagar Metropolitan City-11 today under the local level election. Nagesh Koirala, the leading candidate of the Nepali Congress in the metropolis, expressed his commitment to create a corruption-free municipality, a clean, beautiful city and the second largest municipality.
Ram Shunder Rajbanshi, a candidate for the post of ward chairperson of Biratnagar-11, said that blacktop roads, clean drinking water and sewerage system would be provided. A procession including central member Sangraula, the main candidate Koirala, turned into a rally in different areas of the ward.
