Dhangadi Students build electric car

Students of private sector-run Axis Vidyashram in Dhangadhi have built a four-wheeled electric car.

The car was built by Rohit Ayr, Rishikesh Thapa, Aditya Joshi, and Saksham Regmi, students of class 10 of the school. The construction cost of the car, which took about four months, is estimated at Rs 150,000, said the student. The car is named 'Sar alpha'.

Student Rohit Ayr said that he got support and encouragement from his family and school in the construction of the car. The car has four batteries and is made of metal. Another student, Rishikesh, said, "We have tried to bring out our potential along with our studies."
