Production of laptop in the world market has decreased in the first quarter of 2022.
The production has decreased up to 4.3 per cent compared to 2021. A report released on Thursday states that 78.7 million PCs were produced in the world market during this period last year. Laptop production and shipments are expected to be further affected in May due to the new COVID wave in Shanghai, which have factories manufacturing various brands of laptops.
According to a report, Lenovo topped the list of personal computers sold in the world in the first quarter of 2022. During this period, Lenovo has sold 18.2 million laptops, accounting for 23.1 per cent of the total market share.
HP is in second place with 20.2 per cent and Dell is in third place. Sales of Apple's personal computers rose 8 per cent in the quarter compared to the same period last year.
