Nepal has been defeated by Iran in the AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers with a score of 4-0.
From team Iran, Hossein Nokhodkar scored 2 goals in the 77th and 79th minute of the match, Mehdi Limouchi scored one goal in the 47th minute and Yasin Salmani scored a goal in the additional time leading to Iran’s victory. The Nepali team had a strong performance in the first half while Iran took dominance in the second half.
Nepal is to face the host country Tajikistan in the second match on October 28th.
