The working committee meeting of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) is being held today. The ANFA meeting is about to be held for the first time regarding the controversy seen in Nepali football.
According to ANFA General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar, the meeting will be held at 2 pm. ANFA has already written to the meeting's elected working committee officials.
Tuladhar said that a meeting will be held to discuss the national football team.
After head coach Abdullah Almutairi pulled 10 players from closed training in preparation for the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, a controversy emerged that has yet to be addressed after two weeks.
The athletes have been requesting an independent probe into the incident since then. Officials from ANFA, including the senior vice president, have already written to the organization requesting that a working committee meeting be held.
Coach Almutairi has also written a letter to ANFA expressing his views.
Earlier, ANFA had announced on its website that it had formed a one-member probe into the football team dispute.
