All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has paid its final tributes to FIFA Assistant Referee Bikram Chaudhary who passed away on Friday.
A condolence ceremony was held at ANFA Complex in Satdobato where attendees paid farewell to Chaudhary who collapsed during training and was declared dead when rushed to hospital. Referee Chaudhary was training for the friendly match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan when he collapsed.
National Sports Council Member Secretary Tankalal Ghising, Acting ANFA President and Senior Vice President Bir Bahadur Khadka and Vice President Dawa Lama draped Chaudhary's body with ANFA flag. Executive committee members, footballers, referees, media persons were also present in the ceremony.
Chaudhary's family members including his father, spouse, children and friends were also present.
ANFA Referee Department Chairperson Buddhi Gurung remembered Chaudhary's contribution to Nepali football while addressing the condolence ceremony.
