The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has prepared to send the national cricket team spinner Sandeep Lamichhane to South Africa to join the cricket team's training.
The Nepali team went to South Africa on Tuesday to prepare for the ICC One Day World Cup qualifiers to be held in Zimbabwe. Sandeep, who is on trial for raping a girl child, was not included in the South Africa tour on Tuesday due to court proceedings.
Sandeep's case in the court has been postponed till July 14, according to CAN, preparations are being made to send Sandeep to South Africa by Monday. Even the head coach Monty Desai has not gone with the Nepalese team. According to CAN, Desai, who is staying in America, is going to go to Africa after completing the visa process from India.
Before the ICC One Day World Cup Qualifier to be held in Zimbabwe, Nepal practiced in South Africa. Nepal will also play a practice match in South Africa.
