English Premier League Football is returning tonight with an exciting game between two London rivals, Arsenal and Crystal palace. There are 20 teams vying for the much coveted trophy. Manchester City won the league last year and Liverpool came agonizingly second in the league.
As for the first game of the league, Arsenal is taking on Crystal Palace in Selhurst Park. Only a few months ago, Crystal Palace won the London derby by thumping Arsenal 3-0. Crystal Palace finished 12th last season and collected 4 points from possible six points against Arsenal. Positive vibes is all around the Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace has bolstered the squad by adding Doucore from Lens, Richards from Bayern Munich, Sam Johnstone from West Brom and Ebiowei from Derby. However, they will be missing their last season’s one of the star player Conor Gallagher who joined Chelsea this summer. The Eagles head into the first game of the season with an impressive pre-season friendly wins against QPR and Montpellier.
Arsenal is in different mood this season. At least it seems so in paper. They have bolstered their squad with an impressive signing of Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko from Manchester City.
Crystal Palace will be hoping to repeat the last season’s heroics against its London rival. Arsenal will be looking to start the campaign with a vital 3 points away from home.
