Dhangadhi FC defeated Kathmandu RayZrs by 2 -1 in a high octane play-off at Dasharath stadium on Tuesday evening.
Both the teams were good defensively preventing goals from the opposition. Kathmandu Rayzers broke the deadlock at 78minutes with a header from Tej Tamang who put his team in the lead.
Kathmandu Rayzer couldn’t hold the lead for too long as they conceded a goal just 3 minutes after scoring. Pujan Uperkoti scored the equalizer for Dhangadi FC. The game could not be decided in the regular 90 minutes. As the game moved to extra time, Dhangadi FC’s striker Bishal Rai scored the winner at 108 minutes into the game and clinched a place in the finals.

Lalitpur FC is playing against Butwal Lumbini FC on Wednesday at the second playoff. The winner of the game will face Kathmandu RayZrs in the Semi-Final.
