The Nepal Wadorio Karate Do Association has honored Suman Timalsina, the gold winner of the US Open World Martial Arts Championship in America. Suman, who won gold in the senior men's single kata, was honored at the opening of the third central convention of the Wadorio Karate Association. Youth and Sports Minister Dig Bahadur Limbu honored Suman with a letter of appreciation.
On the same occasion, medal winners of the 3rd International Open Karate Tournament held in Sri Lanka, Kamruddin Ali (Gold), Samyam Kandel (Gold), Shobhakar Pant (Silver) and Purushottam Pokharel (Silver) were honored. 19th International Okinawa Gojurio Ipoh City Open Karate Gold Winners Dev Kumar Shah, Prashti Sharma, Prashesh Shahi, Aaron Sherchan, Sushant Khadka, Samishka Karki, Silver Winner Akriti Kandel and Bronze Winner Baishnavi Sharma were also felicitated.
Similarly, Sagar Kafle, Sharad Kunwar, Arpan Bhandari, Vivek Wick, Savitri Bhandari and Manish Roka Magar, who won gold in the first Indo-Nepal open karate competition in India, and Yugan Basyal and Wisan Thapa Magar, who won silver, were also honored.
