Not a single cricketer from Nepal could make it to the upcoming Pakistan Super League PSL. 15 players from the associate cricket nation Netherlands, 10 players from Scotland, 25 player from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and 10 players from Canada were included in the Player Draft. However none of the players from Nepal could be included in the Draft.
Sandeep Lamichhane, who had been playing PSL for the past few seasons, is facing a case in court on the charge of raping a minor.
It has become a matter of concern that 10 players from Canada, who are much lower than Nepal in the ICC Ranking, are not included in the draft.
