Despite a draw to reach the final, Nepal is out of the league stage of the ongoing SAFF U-19 football championship after losing 1-0 to India. With the victory over Nepal, India has made it to the final.
With the win, India entered the final. Priyanka Devi from India scored the goal at the 67th minute determining India's victory.
In the five-team championship, Nepal finished third in the league with two wins, one draw, and one defeat. Nepal added 7 points from four games. Nepal started the championship with a goalless draw with Bangladesh, beating Sri Lanka 6-0 in the second match and Bhutan 4-0 in the third match.
