Nepal gave Scotland a target of 129 runs for victory

Nepal has given Scotland a target of 129 runs for victory in the triangular one-day series under the ICC World Cricket League Two.

In today's match at Titwood Glasgow, Scotland, Nepal lost the toss and was invited to bat first. Asif Shaikh contributed the most 40 runs for Nepal. He scored 40 runs with the help of 6 boundaries while playing 58 balls. Similarly, captain Sandeep Lamichhane added 22 runs while Vinod Bhandari added 13 runs and Dev Khanal and Rohit Paudel added 10/10 runs.

Dipendra Singh Airi, Sompal Kami and Karan KC contributed 7/7 runs each while Kushal Bhurtel added 3 runs. Scotland's Hamza Tahir alone took four wickets while Mark Wart took three wickets while covering Nepal cheaply. Gavin Mann took two wickets while Christopher took one wicket. Having chased down the winning target of 129 runs, Scotland has now started to bat in response.

Under this series, Nepal had previously defeated Scotland by five wickets. Nepal lost to Namibia in both matches. In the first match, Nepal lost to Namibia by 40 runs and in the third match of the series, they lost by 63 runs. On the other hand, Scotland defeated Namibia in both matches.
