Nepal has been placed in Group F of the qualifier for the Women’s AFC Asian Cup football tournament that is going to be held next year in India. The other countries in the group are Hong Kong and the Philippines.
The draw for the qualifying round was held today at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
There are 28 nations participating in the qualifying round. The teams have been divided into four groups of four teams each and four groups of three teams each.
The qualifying rounds will begin from September 13 till 25. All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has informed that the Women’s AFC Asian Cup football tournament will be held from January 20 till February 6 next year.
