Nepal has lost to United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the ongoing ICC U-19 Women's T20 World Cup Asia qualifiers in Malaysia.
Nepal lost to UAE by 10 wickets in a match played at UKM Oval Cricket Ground in Malaysia today. UAE completed the target given by Nepal without losing a wicket. Nepal, who had won the toss and elected to bat first, lost all their wickets in 8.1 overs
Mahika Gaur of UAE took 5 wickets while Indhuja Nanda Kumar took 3 wickets. This is Nepal's first defeat in the league. Nepal had defeated Qatar by 79 runs in yesterday's match. This is the second consecutive victory of the UAE. In the first match, UAE defeated Bhutan by 160 runs.
Apart from Nepal, the organizers are Malaysia, UAE, Thailand, Bhutan and Qatar. Nepal will play its third match against Bhutan on Monday.
