Nepal lost to the Maldives in the Saba Women's Basketball Championship.
Nepal lost 51-47 against home team Maldives in the opening match last night in Male, Maldives.
Along with the host Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan are participating in the competition. Nepal will play its second match against Sri Lanka on October 11. Similarly, in the last match of the round-robin, Nepal will play against Bhutan on October 12.
