After poor bowling, Nepal lost to the home team Zimbabwe in the opening match of the ICC One Day World Cup Qualifier.
Chasing a challenging target of 291 runs for victory, Zimbabwe completed the target with the loss of two wickets in 44.1 overs.
Earlier, after losing the toss and being invited to bat first, Nepal scored 290 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the scheduled 50 overs. Opener Kushal Bhurtel scored the highest 99 runs for Nepal.
