Nepal met the target of 157 runs given by Kenya at the Gymkhana ground in Nairobi by losing 6 wickets in 19 overs and 3 balls. Gyanendra Malla scored 46 runs, Arjun Saud scored 35 runs, Rahit Paudel scored 29 runs, and Pawan Saraf scored 20 runs and Adil Ansari scored 16 runs.
Kenya won the toss and scored 156 runs after losing two wickets in just 20 overs. Rakip Patel scored 73 not out in 43 balls and Irfan Karim scored 55 runs in 47 balls. On the bowling side, Nepal's Sompal Kami and Adil Ansari took one wicket each.
With this victory, Nepal has taken a two-one lead in the five-match series. Nepal and Kenya are also scheduled to play three ODI cricket matches.
