Online games have taken over a huge market around the world. What started out as a hobby has now turned into a full-time job for many.

And today we can find many gamers and streamers around the world that anyone can watch everywhere. Online streaming has attracted many youths and has encouraged online gaming lovers to put their skill and time for all to see.

What started in the early 1990s by Starlight Networks and Real Networks, has become a popular trend now. And it was not that long ago when Nepali streamers entered the online streaming world but they already have gained numbers of followers and viewers.

Rabin Limbu, AKA Nero Subba, started his first live streaming in 2019. “I was always attracted to online gaming and I was mostly focused on gaming more than anything else”, says Nero. “I started playing online games from Omlet Arcade for almost 2 months. But after watching other international streamers and with my friend’s suggestion I started playing PUBG mobile and streaming it,” he explains.

And today he is the second most popular streamer in Nepal. 26 years old, Nero, is a gaming video creator, streamer, gamer, and also a vlogger. He has around 84k followers on Facebook(Nero Gaming), 213k subscribers in his online streaming YouTube channel, and 13.7k subscribers in Nero’s vlog.

“I started streaming only because I wanted to share my gaming experience with others. I never thought of reaching where I am today. I am more than thankful for all the love and support and have realized that if you really love to do something, you will reach the place you have always dreamt of,” explains Nero.

Online streaming has become one of the biggest platforms for anyone to earn name, fame, and money today. “I had a normal life before but when I started streaming my whole life changed. And now I stream for about 6 to 7 hours a day and sometimes 10 hours too. But I love what I do and I am happy because I am living a wonderful life and earning well ”, he adds.

Nero wants to inspire all the new gamers and streamers who are struggling now. “My suggestion for them is not to give up or stop doing what they love. Nothing can get bigger right after one starts, it takes time and if you can do it in the right way and work hard then anything is possible. Well, the life of an online streamer is nothing but fun and you will get to share the platform with many international gamers and be known internationally as well”, Nero suggested.
