Khizidemba Rural Municipality of Okhaldhunga is considered a suitable destination for golfing. A documentary has been released about the successful golf game survey at Tholedemba hill at 3350 meters. The documentary was released under the initiative of Khizidemba Rural Municipality, Nepal Tourism Board and Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal.
Chief Administrative Officer Dambar Bahadur Rajnamagar informed that the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kiranti, also announced the new tourism route in the lower Everest region.
Minister Kirati announced 'a 3-day trail through Pokali Waterfall (130 m.) to Chilimdanda, Lamjebauddha, Chulithan, Gaurivan, Dobatevanjang, Khijichandeshwari, Khizifalate, Chupluvhanjang to Tholedemba 3 thousand 350 meters and a new trail from Pike, Dudhkund Himal to Mount Everest base camp through Tholedemba.
The program was organized to promote the tourism of Demba Danda, which is one of the 100 destinations of Nepal.
In the program, Federal MP of Okhaldhunga, Ramhari Khatiwada expressed his commitment to develop Khizifalate as a tourist hub, that Chandeshwari Airport in Khizidemba 3 should be upgraded and operated immediately.
Constituent Assembly member Yagyaraj Sunuwar expressed his belief that the new concept of sports tourism will increase the number of tourists.
Tourism Minister Kiranti declared a place like Tholedemba as a tourist area and expressed his commitment to move ahead with policy and budget management to raise the economic status of the country and to build a prosperous country and to take initiatives for the immediate operation of Khizichandeshwari Airport.
The chairman of the rural municipality, Gambu Sherpa, said that the rural municipality has made a strategic move to promote Khizidemba through tourism, agriculture and other sectors.
