Premier League fixtures this weekend have been postponed after the tragic death of Her Majesty the Queen. Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday at Balmoral Castle aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.

The Premier League met with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) this morning for an update on fixtures before holding a meeting themselves. Fulham were due host Chelsea in Saturday’s early slot while Tottenham were away at Manchester City in a 5.30pm kick off.

Arsenal, meanwhile, had been set to host Everton on Sunday (2pm) while West Ham United were due to Newcastle United at the same time. But those games along with the rest of the matches in the top-flight and EFL are now in doubt have been called off.

The EFL confirmed on Thursday evening that the Friday fixtures were to be postponed, while the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham, who were due to have press conferences today ahead of the weekend's matches, have gone the same way. What means we will have to wait for new Blues boss Graham Potter's first press conference in situ.
