Satdobato Youth Club (SYC) has faced its first loss against Newroad Team (NRT) by a 1-0 score in the ongoing Qatar Airways Sahid Memorial 'A' division league.
Aakash Budha Magar's freekick was cleared by NRT defenders in the 16th minute of the game that was held in Tripureshwor-based Dasrath Rangashaala. Likewise, Eric Bista's shot from outside the box hit Peter Segun in the 39th minute.
NRT's Stephen Samir Binog's goal within 15 seconds took the lead against SYC in the second half of the game. Goalkeeper Abhishek Baral saved Stephen Samir's shot in the 59th minute.
SYC failed to take the lead in the top position as they faced the first loss in the game. SYC stands at third position with seven points from four games.
Meanwhile, NRT is at seventh position with five points from four games as they managed to win the first game in the league.
