Nepal has kick-started the SAAF Championships, defeating the host Maldives in its first game.
The SAAF Championships started yesterday in Male; the capital city of Maldives. The Nepali men's football team took the very first game against the host country with a score of 1-0, adding 3 points to the bank. In the last 4 minutes of the match, Manish Dangi scored for Nepal. Dangi was awarded the man of the match.
In the 2018 SAAF Championships Maldives had defeated Nepal with a score of 3-0.
Nepal will be facing India in the next match in October 10.
