The hearing of the extortion case against cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has been scheduled for today.
According to the regular work list of the court, an appearance has been scheduled for today regarding the case against him. A case of coercion against him is pending in District Court Kathmandu.
As the court has heard the statements of both parties and the necessary evidence, there is a possibility that the case may be decided today.
Lamichhane was arrested on charges of raping a 17-year-old girl.
The Patan High Court ordered him to be released on a bond of 20 lakh rupees.
