The final appearance of Nepali national cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane's case has been heard by Judge Deepak Dhakal.
Sandeep, accused of rape, was earlier ordered by the court to take the statements of the remaining witnesses.
The court took statements from the doctor and Sahab Alam.
The final hearing in the case against Lamichhane is going on from today.
The case against Lamichhane is going to be heard in the courtroom of Judge Deepak Dhakal in the Kathmandu District Court.
His appearance is number four. According to the Supreme Court's order to remove the case against Sandeep from the fast track, the final hearing in his case is about to take place.
Sandeep was remanded in custody by the Kathmandu District Court in the preliminary hearing.
But the Patan High Court released him from prison and banned him from going abroad.
After Sandeep appealed to the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court allowed him to go abroad. The final decision of the case is pending in the district court.
Today, the Kathmandu District Court has scheduled Sandeep's appearance.
