Sandeep Lamichhane, the former captain of the Nepali national cricket team, has participated in the closed training camp of the national team. He has also been included in the list of closed training players released by the Nepal Cricket Association. He has contacted the trainer and fitness team.
The decision whether Sandeep can play or not will be decided by the selection committee based on his fitness and condition.
The coach can include Sandeep in the team if he is fit and able to play.
Sandeep, who was released on bail in the case of rape of a girl child, was decided to release his suspension only on Wednesday at the CAN board meeting held in Pokhara.
The District Court of Kathmandu has not yet decided the rape case against Sandeep.
