PSV grabbed their first point in Champions League Group B after tying Sevilla 2-2 in Eindhoven on Tuesday, thanks to a goal by Jordan Teze in .
Having suffered a 4-0 defeat in London to Arsenal, PSV needed the points most, while Sevilla had drawn 1-1 at home with RC Lens in the first round of Group B matches.
PSV defender Andre Ramalho could have headed the Dutch league leaders in front in the first half, but his goal was disallowed for offside. On behalf of Sevilla, Adria Pedrosa also scored, but his goal was disallowed due to a hand ball.
In the second half, Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri hit the crossbar, while PSV forward Noa Lang hit the post. In the 68th minute Nemanja Gudelj broke the deadlock and smashed in the opening goal for Sevilla.
After Malik Tillman was brought down by Sevilla veteran Sergio Ramos, PSV received a penalty in the 86th minute. It was the start of a hectic final phase of the match. Luuk de Jong converted the penalty, but directly from the kick-off, Sevilla bounced back and En-Nesyri headed the visitors in front again.
That seemed to be the decisive goal, but five minutes into injury-time, Jordan Teze scored for PSV after a corner: 2-2. With Arsenal surprisingly losing 2-1 at RC Lens, the French side now top the group with four points, before Arsenal (3), Sevilla (2) and PSV (1).
